Foreign minister welcomes UEFA decision ‘not to assist to political provocation’
Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó welcomed on Tuesday a decision by heads of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) “not to assist to political provocation against Hungary” and rejecting Munich’s request for illuminating a football stadium in rainbow colors.
Szijjártó told Hungarian journalists in the break during a meeting of European Union foreign ministers in Luxembourg that
“thank God among UEFA leaders common sense still prevails”.
Munich’s left-wing mayor had proposed illuminating the stadium in rainbow colours during a Germany-Hungary match on Wednesday in order to express protest against Hungary’s new peadophile law which bans sexual education in schools promoting homosexuality and gender change.
Szijjártó sees ‘fake news campaign’ around Hungary anti-pedophile law
A “global fake news campaign” has been launched around Hungary’s recent anti-pedophile law to “mislead the general public”, Szijjártó said.
Speaking on the sidelines of a meeting of European Union affairs ministers, Szijjarto told Hungarian reporters that critics of the contested law have “formed their opinion based on that campaign”.
The law does not discriminate against any social group, it is “about just one thing: to protect Hungarian children”, he insisted.

Finally, a sport association is concentrating on sport and not politics.
Since critics have not read the law, there is only one word for them “Shut up”, Those who actually read the law said “it may be used” which is like saying next year we might have pink snow.
There should never be any discrimination against people on the basis of sexual preference and there is no such law.
The EU is as usual criticizes Hungary, starting with the bigot Anselmo, because Hungary still exist, keeps its sovereignty, and does not bow to Brussels’ dictators.
